Many schools will require the submission of additional applications such as CSS Profile and/or institutional forms, along with submission of various tax documents according to your application.

After FAFSA, you also want to file:

1.      Applicable state aid application such as TAP Application for New York,

2.      CSS Profile, if your school/institution requires one,

3.      If you filed CSS Profile, you must also submit required documents through IDOC.

Even after all this, you might have more forms to file such as financial aid supplements that your school requires.

And you might even have to appeal to your school’s financial aid office if you believe your financial aid package doesn’t suffice for you to go to your school!
